A Management Initiative
ARISE & SHINE
Punjab Association partnered with Arise and Shine in July 2019 to bridge students Emotional and Language barriers. Arise and Shine a US-based educational enterprise focuses on the holistic transformation of students with a thrust on Emotional Intelligence and Communicative English. The structure of the program emphasizes on maximizing the student’s learning potential, nurturing their Emotional Intelligence and ensures that no student is left behind. It nurtures and develops their LSRW skills through the integration of Emotional Intelligence and Learning styles. After implementation of this program in the Adarsh group of Schools good learning outcomes were established. Following classroom, codes trained the students to adapt to a systematic approach and a disciplined code. The rewarding system empowered and motivated the students to learn and also gain confidence. In the long run students will gain the skills needed to lead a productive, healthy and fulfilling life.


MYKENSHO
Punjab Association introduced MYKENSHO as a co-curricular activity in all its five schools during the academic year 2019-20. MYKENSHO in- curriculum lets a child identify its unique place in the world. It is delivered as a structured student-centric identity program that is embedded in schools for students of Std VI to IX, the formative years when beliefs, attitudes, values are shaped, core skills and career perceptions are developed. This program allows a student to explore, understand, decide, plan and execute their educational, career and vocational pathways based on real-time world scenarios to effectively manage life and career transitions after school. The program is led by internationally certified career practitioners. The modules contain interactive video sessions and sophisticated lesson plans which are facilitated by the faculty members of the school. This program works on Team-based activities and the student learns to work and play as a team. The yearlong program comes to an end every academic year by students participating in a project display where their talents are evaluated.
